Nov 15 2017 the rock crusher isnt perfect either at its minimum 3db setting i measured actual volume reduction more like 8db at 8 and 12db at 16 from there the attenuation increases in much smaller steps but if your rig is just barely too loud the rock crusher might be overkill

Mar 11 2016 my advice is to contact the place you bought it or rivera directly as an elimination part of troubleshooting try playing the amp without the attenuator connected at the setting you were losing the volume at if your living situation allows to see if the problem may actually be with the amp
